Apple's iOS 4.0.1 lets you start with your iPhone in a clear slate. And it has a new formula of calculating signal strength.

According to a letter published by the company earlier this month, they’ve been using a wrong formula for calculating a . This update also brings some minor changes to the signal bars themselves, making few of the lower bars to look slightly taller.
