Apple is Giving Away Free Cases for iPhone 4 Users
Apple's solution to your iPhone 4's reception issues... Free iPhone case!
Steve Jobs announced last Friday on Apple’s press conference that the company will issue a free case to every iPhone 4 units bought until September 30. You are entitled for a refund in case you already bought a bumper for your iPhone. Starting late next week, consumers can apply for a free case at Apple’s website.
Due to shortage in bumper cases, the company plans to source from third parties so iPhone 4 customers will have a choice. If you think the offer is still not good enough, you can return your iPhone for a full refund within 30 days of your purchase. Steve Jobs said plainly that “we want to make everyone happy, and if we can’t make you happy we’ll give you a full refund.”
It took three weeks and a day after the first customer began taking their new iPhones home only to experience both antenna and proximity sensor issues that this move came. The adverse reaction escalated earlier this week after Consumers Reports declared that they would not recommend the device. This was followed by rumors of possible recall and last Friday’s press conference.View Article Source »
