Adobe’s New Publishing Software for Tablets

Adobe, makers of the famous Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash and Acrobat Reader has revealed that making of a software intended for tablets.

This will soon hit the pack and can be downloaded to Labs. It will include tools that will bridge the gap between and interactive format softwares.

The company’s aspiration is to make it simpler for publishers to create and profit from magazines like Wired’s successful offering. Wired eventually used InDesign and a mixture of other products to create their masterpiece.

The newest Adobe will focus on mobile hardware-specific and basic needs. This includes the 360 degrees image rotation and pinch and swipe navigation for the zooming and panning of images.This is currently accomplished through AIR , the Interactive Overlay Creator. In the future versions of InDesign, interactive Overlay Creator will be a feature.

Adobe is making everything hassle-free especially the add mobile-friendly multimedia to slick, print reminiscent layouts. The brief demo shows how it is done.

Adobe will let you import layouts from InDesign to the new work flow. From there, you’ll be able to add metadata, experiment with portrait and landscape layouts, and export content to the .issue format — a brand-new, ready-to-render file for digital magazines.
