Acer Netbook Powered with Android and Windows XP

Acer is out with its new netbook! What's cool is that it comes with two OS. Acer Aspire One AOD255 is awesome with its Acer Configuration Manager. Whether you're in for Android or Windows XP, Acer has it for you.

At a computer show in Taipei on Thursday, unveiled its latest crack of combining mobile software and Window’s XP OS. Aspire One netbook uses Windows as the main operating system, while Android serves as the quick-booting OS. The netbook has a 10.1 inch screen and Intel Atom N450 microprocessor inside. It has 1GB of DDR2 DRAM and 160GB HDD for storage. The device also includes 3-cell lithium-ion battery.

The latest Acer netbook is being sold at the computer exhibition for NT$9,500 (or around US$300). However, it is a special price for the attendees of the computer show. The real price is marked NT$3,000 or about US$375. The Taipei Computer Applications Show will run through the weekend, and people attending the show can order the device on Thursday and pick it up the next day. There are no date as to the world market release of Acer Aspire One though.
