After two years of developing the game, Backbreaker now has an available update. NaturalMotion promises gamers a new, faster and better online American Football game experience. Are you ready to take the action?

As soon as Wednesday, new features  for the game, , will be available through the biggest you’ll ever see in a sports game. Features include new plays, better AI, replay camera suites and better “focus mode.” Though the , dubbed as “Greathouse,” are sort of needed in the first place, it is still a good news.

One of the biggest complaints in the original game is the passing. Games, the game’s most dedicated contributor, promises a complete pass, increased quarter back accuracy across the board and a pump-fake command relocation to a shoulder button. Corners and safeties now fully respect their visibility cone, and see interception opportunities whenever acceptable.

Before, focus mode was applicable to quarter backs only. But now, users on defense have full control over interception attempts now, plus the “focus mode” when holding the left trigger. “Focus mode” catching for user-controlled wide-receivers is also applicable in addition to back running. Just hold the left trigger to turn the camera upfield, and gamers will be able to see oncoming offenders while heading to the sidelines. Another thing to take note: the shoulder button will allow players to disguise a blitz-formation with a pre-snap. Spins and Jukes, the trick moves for back running, will be executed more consumerately with their skill ratings. Reaction for collision from teammates will be less violent, which allows better running behind blockers and between tackles.

NaturalMotion affirmed a thorough review of penalty complaints. This will reduce frequency of penalty in the games, including roughing the kicker. Online lag has been slighly reduced, and some inconsistencies with the rules of the American Football were also fixed. P.O.D.’s “Boom” will play after the first kickoff of every half only.

These are the features of the patch update, which is expected to be available this coming week by 505 Games. Whether the game overhaul is enough to buy new players, or to get their erstwhile gamers remains to be seen.
