Nikon Coolpix S1100pj and S5100 Ready to Show Off
Nikon Coolpix is ready to show off new models that is all the more and greater than the previous cuts.
Hear, hear! Nikon just announced the newest version of Coolpix, the S1100pj and the S5100.
The S1100pj is an update to Nikon’s Coolpix S1000pj. This is a projector cam, not only thinner but slimmer and sleeker. The projector is brighter by 14 lumens and can beam images off a laptop by just a USB. The controls are simple, all with a new 3-inches wide 460,000 dot touch screen for duties such as wild telestrator-style paint mode. The latter lets you draw right on top of the projected screen.
The camera is a 4-megapixel sensor with 720p movie mode and ISO 6400 sensitivity, 28-140mm 5x optical zoom with five-way stabilizer, and the ability to detect faces, smiles and blinks. The market price has dropped from $100 to $349 which comes with reasonable attributes.
The Coolpix S5100, is a little bit boring, making the line between S6000 and S4000. Nothing much, just a 12.1-megapixel sensor with ISO 3200 sensitivity and a 720p movie mode, 5x optical zoom with four-way stabilization. With a Tripod-Detection that tweaks all the shutter speed and exposure for a blurry-free photo. The device is $179 and comes in multiple colors to arrive by October.
But there are leaks and we are smelling the scent of the D3100 DSLR camera. Maybe lurking nearby. Who knows?View Article Source »
