Apple’s Music Event: Join the Crowd on September 7
August 24–Bloomberg reported the arrival of 99-cent TV show rentals on the iTunes, alongside a date for an Apple event. Note this, folks: “Apple plans to hold a San Francisco event September 7, two weeks ahead of the start of the new prime-time TV season to unveil the service and a refreshed line of entertainment products.”
The schedule is within the week range of the past annual music events, all usually focusing on iPods and iTunes. Apple is known to send out invites to the press conference a week ahead of the event. Another earlier report mentioned that it might take place in mid-September.
The coming month seems to be the music season for Apple, but people based there are not saying much. A representative said Tuesday, “We don’t comment on rumors and speculation.”
But, as with any forthcoming Apple products, we will keep looking forward to the iTunes content and, as Mashable reported, the anticipated “$99 reworked Apple TV version, new iPods, including an iPod Touch with “retina” display and front-facing camera, and FaceTime calling.”
