Apple to Stream their Press Event Tomorrow

Apple announced yesterday that the company will be live streaming their event today to the public. Beginning 10 am PT, Apple will host a stream of their highly anticipated announcements of updated iPods, iTunes rentals, and their overhauled Apple TV. Though the guys of Cupertino post videos of their product launches later in the day, demand for press events like this is astonishingly high. On an interesting note, video coverage will only be available on Apple devices only. Many assumes that it has something to do with the company’s passion of controlling the user experience — or it’s just a gimmick for the relaunch of the Apple TV.

Viewing requires either a Mac® running Safari® on Mac OS® X version 10.6 Snow Leopard®, an iPhone® or iPod touch® running iOS 3.0 or higher, or an iPad™. The live broadcast will begin at 10:00 a.m. PDT on September 1, 2010 at www.apple.com.”
