Instant Results with Google Instant
It’s not psychic power, but Google finishes your sentence to save time and effort.
Google Instant is sort of an extension of Google Suggest. The difference between the two is instead of just hinting the search you are doing, it automatically completes the words. The results including images, videos and other snippets are already presented on the page.
VP of search products Marissa Meyer said that the aim of Google Instant is to cut the common search time of 25 seconds. Also with the help of Google Chrome, the 15 seconds out of the 25 is greatly reduced.
Mayer mentioned that the change is for a more “fun, fast and interactive” Google. Overall, Google Instant will save up to 350 million hours of online time. And if you’re thinking that this is some kind of physic, Google already did a joke about this for April Fool’s in year 2000, by launching “Google MentalPlex”.View Article Source »
