Facebook Plus Career: It’s Possible with Jibe
“We look at social media as a way to make the process more convenient for the job-seeker, not as a way to expose anything." ---Joe Essenfield, Jibe founder
But this is will all change with the arrival of Jibe.
Jibe, referred to as the “the next generation job board,” presents job listing, Facebook and Linkedln profiles to help people get a job.
The site provides career networks based on the companies where your friends’ are currently employed. In this way, users can have wider connections to be in contact with.
Jibe founder Joe Essenfeld, said that this site is “the only job board that actually makes applying for a job more similar to how it’s done offline.” In its launch last week, the site has already 500 job offerings from companies like Amazon, MTV and Condé Nast.
Essenfeld added that this is not a way to expose indecent information to employers. “We look at social media as a way to make the process more convenient for the job-seeker, not as a way to expose anything.”
“We just built a really good channel. We’re not a research tool, we’re a social media recruiting tool,” he added.View Article Source »
