Celebrity Auction’s Prize Involves 140-Characters

Click, bid and tweet. These are the things you need to do in order to help build an orphanage in Haiti.
The top bidder online charity running on eBay today is willing to shed $14,900 just to have a Twitter access to Zachary Levi, the lead actor in the TV series “Chuck.”
Once the bid is won, Mr. Levi must follow the winning bidder’s account on Twitter, retweet the winner’s messages and mention the winner’s name on every tweets he sends.
This charity auction was launched by an Atlanta church in hopes to raise money to build an orphanage in a town in Haiti. Currently, the auction has raised $215,000 in bids.
Other celebrities who joined the auction are Cher, Justin Bieber, Jonas Brothers, Kardashian sisters, Demi Moore and even chef Gordon Ramsay.
This is a new scheme which aims to build virtual relationships among celebrities and their fans.
