Seven Reasons to Feel Good about Windows Phone 7

The Windows Phone 7 are coming this November 8 to invade the mobile market, and be part of the smartphone battle field. But before you say "Yeah, right!", read on the seven reasons why it's absolutely right.
Microsoft, the tech giant from Redmond, Washington, “has come out swinging in smartphone wars,” as Stuart Dredge of Mobile Entertainment says. After years of struggling to make its way to the smartphone battle arena, Microsoft still has a lot of catching up to do. Still, the Windows Phone 7 units can still compete with its big rivals like Apple’s iPhone and Google’s Android. Here are the seven reasons why.
1. Stylish
The look and feel of WP7 phones can be appealing to both tech enthusiasts and first-time smartphone owners. Though the devices from manufacturers like Samsung, LG, HTC and Dell are not as elegant as Apple’s iPhone, they are better looking that the previous Windows-based handsets.
2. Improved User Experience
The WP7 software and user interface are organized by more generalized “hubs” like games, photos and social networks. While apps offer great variation, many consumers are only interested in a set of tools rather than crowding their screens with annoying features. More over, the software can support multitasking without draining the batteries.
3. Pro-business Users
In the enterprise market, WP7 phones can be a threat to RIM’s BlackBerry phones because of the Microsoft Office and Exchange integration. This features already made the business operation humming, thus an enterprise customers can feel secure with WP7.
4. Sociable
With Microsoft owning at least a small piece of Facebook, the company pays a lot of attention to the world’s largest social network. Facebook is an integral presence throughout the operating system, the reason why its users will love the device.
5. Apps and Games
Though Microsoft will initially launch only a tad full of apps like eBay, IMDb and Tetris, developers are coming to create titles exclusive for WP7. And albeit it is unlikely for the company to match-up with iPhone and Android apps, programs that can entertain you will surely be available in the coming days.
6. Piquing Skepticism
First, there was Micorosoft BoB that promised to make desktop computing less technical. And most recently, there was Kin that lasted in the market for only six weeks. So with all of this, is WP7 worth a try? Only one way to find out. And that is to have one.
7. More Than What It Looks Like
Though some may be clouded with doubts as to whether the WP7 phones can make it, units as big as this can be a refreshing welcome to the arena. And while consistent marketing were not able to save stuffs like Kin, money and messaging can help bring Microsoft and WP7 back into the mobile media game.
