NVIDIA Releases GT440 Cards

Another secret is hovering the web as NVIDIA is set to release a DirectX 11-capable cards for OEMs. And though the GeForce GT 440 is still a rumor, some info are leaking already. Read on to get the scoop.

After the GT 430 1GB cards, seems to keep another secret: The range. The NVIDIA range is designed to provide DirectX 11-compatible cards to OEMs. It features a 584MHz graphics clock, 1,189MHz processor clock, either 800 or 900MHz memory clock, and 144 CUDA cores. NVIDIA will also offer two different models: a budget-friendly 1.5GB version of GDDR3, and a powerful 3GB of GDDR 3 model.

The is said to be two-way SLI ready, and will support PhysX, CUDA and 3D vision. As standards, the cards will come with HDMI, VGA and DVI connectors, and will support a 2560 x 1600 digital port resolution and 2048 x 1536 analogue VGA pixel. The only information missing is the price. But with the card aimed at OEMs, the cost should be kept a bit low.
