NUI Group Member Hacks the Kinect
Yes, you read it right. The Microsoft Kinect has been hacked and cracked by the same guy from NUI Group that exploited the PlayStation Eye in 2008. This time, he has different intention for his action.
The motion-sensing depth camera, Microsoft Kinect, now do a hacker’s bidding after being cracked. The Kinect now nods its head on command and displays real-time accelerometer data on the lucky hacker’s PC. The guy responsible for this exploit is the same NUI Group member that hacked the PlayStation Eye in 2008. However, the man from NUI Group does not intend to unveil his new exploit on Microsoft Kinect to the world. But he has big plans for the device though. The NUI Group member hopes to integrate the Kinect to his CL Studio Live — a commercial visualization suite.
