iWork 11: Ready To Go
After Apple held back the release of iWork 11 together with iLife 11, the new productivity suite is now rumored to hit the market with Mac App Store. Though some things are still undecided, many Mac users can't wait for next year.
The next major revamp of Apple’s iWork productivity suite is all wrapped and good to go. However, the Cupertino-based company still holds back the release until it gets around the launching of Mac App Store early next year. According to people familiar with the matter, the development of iWork 11 is done since fall, and the software is already slated for an introduction together with iLife 11 last month. However, it was held back due to undisclosed reasons.
Apple’s change of plans currently called for the launch of the new productivity suite, along the soon-to-come Mac App Store. Applications like Pages, Numbers and Keynotes will be available for individual purchase when the Mac App Store opens. Apple is also undecided as to whether a retail box version of iWork will be released. Otherwise, it will be the first major Mac Software that will be exclusively available online.View Article Source »
