Android Tablets, Carry Nvidia Tegra?
The competition in the world of tablets become fiercer with the coming arrival of Android tablets equipped with Nvidia's Tegra. Is this a threat for iPad?
It has always been a common knowledge that Android tablets are gearing to dominate the world. The question now is: is this tablet better than the iPad? Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang answered the question by making an announcement that Android tablets are quite competitive and can perform better than iPad.
“[Nvidia Tegra] give you the benefit of higher performance and much, much better multitasking and better graphics,” Huang said in an interview with CNET.
“Open your notebook. [Inside] it’s got heat pipes, and fans, and heat spreaders, lots of copper. You’re going to get rid of all of that,” he said. “[Tablets] will be quite disruptive to notebooks and entry-level desktops,” he added.
Huang, interestingly mocked the Samsung Galaxy Tab, which is one of the biggest competitors of the iPad.
“Look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab. It’s a tablet that uses a phone operating system on a large display. A tablet is not a large phone.” he said.View Article Source »
