XBox 360 Games You Must Watch for 2011
The year 2011 is fast approaching, so are the newest game title for XBox 360 that you shouldn't miss. Get you paper and pen at hand, because Gadg is giving the list of games scheduled for next year.
This year is soon to come to its end, and 2011 is fast approaching. And just as the old saying goes, new year means new beginnings. But here at Gadg, new year means new games to watch out for! And to start our countdown of games due to hit the shelves next year, Gadg is giving you the top 15 XBox 360 games you should check out.
1. Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters (TBA 2011)
The Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters is inspired by the feature film that brings the popular DC hero to the big screen. Here, players will use over a dozen constructs and will fly across the Universe to have the Green Lantern power ring, and to restore intergalactic order.
2. Auditorium (TBA 2011)
Auditorium is a musical puzzle journey that presents a cool and soothing experience with its subtle melodies and unique game play. The game is all about exploration and discovery, hence no instructions on to how to play will be available. The aim is to guide a constant stream of moving particles of light and sound, aka The Flow, into Audio Containers. As you fill the containers, light transforms into sound and will provide the ultimate Harmony of Flow.
3. John Daly’s ProStroke Golf (Q2 2011)
John Daly’s ProStroke Golf is an interactive game that includes a number of fully licensed courses and play modes. It comes with a realistic golf physics and commentary from famous golfers, providing a complete experience for fans and gamers.
4. Trine 2 (Q2 2011)
Trine 2 brings the beloved Triad in all-new adventure filled with more action and puzzles. Also introduced here is the online support for the popular cooperative 3-person gameplay
5. From Dust (Q2 2011)
Created by the French video game designer luminary, Eric Chahi, From Dust shows a chaotic world that you need to set right. As a child in a sandbox, you’ll help your people to accomplish their quest for a safe place to live against the catastrophes of Nature. The innovative gameplay of From Dust is based on advanced technologies that enables the world to act dynamically. In this game, your powers are great, but the way you use them will determine the fate of the society.
6. Transformers: Dark of the Moon (Q3 2011)
Transformers: Dark of the Moon is based on the third chapter of Michael Bay’s live-action and effects-packed cinema extravaganza.
7. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (Q3 2011)
A fantasy world created by New York Times best-selling author, R. A. Salvatore, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a single player RPG that takes on a heroic journey to reveal the mysteries of Amalur.
8. Breach (January 2011)
Breach is a first-person multiplayer shooter game that uses the innovative Hydrogen Engine. The Hydrogen Engine can provide gamers with various ways of using the destruction in order to stun, manipulate and eliminate their opponents. Players will take on the roles of the CIA Special Activities Division, and will use weapons, gears and real-life spy gadgets to defeat the enemy.
9. Marvel vs Capcom 3 (February 15, 2011)
The Marvel vs Capcom 3 is another explosive showdown between the heroes of the Capcom and Marvel universe. Fill the shoes of the legendary superheroes from both worlds, and battle in a living comic book art style powered by Capcom’s MT framework.
10. Micheal Jackson, The Experience (February 15, 2011)
In this game, players will step into the shoes of the legendary King of Pop, and will relive his most iconic performances through their own singing and dancing. The game includes Michael Jackson’s famous tracks, and well as an array of dance moves for players to learn and emulate.
11. MotoGP 10/11 (March 2011)
MotoGp 10/11 will bring the most authentic and realistic MotoGP experience of the series to its fans. Gamers will have all of the 2010 MotoGP season content, plus the downloadable updates for the new MotoGP installment. The new handling system and improved physics in MotoGP 10/11 will deliver a level of authenticity that has never seen before.
Also included in MotoGP 10/11 is the brand new customizable player assist feature that enables both simulation and arcade racing fans to alter their style. 13. Mortal Kombat (April 19, 2011)
The Mortal Kombat is based upon Emperor Shao Khan’s victory over Raiden and his allies. With Raiden facing extinction, he aims to save the Earthrealm by striking Shao Khan where he is vulnerable — the past. Mortal Kombat is driven by a new graphics engine and presented in a more gory detail. It introduces a number of features including the tag team and the deepest story mode of the game. Gamers can select from the extensive lineup of Mortal Kombat’s iconic warriors, and challenge their buddies in a traditional one-versus-one match or take on several game modes.
14. Lord of the Rings: War in the North (May 2011)
The Lord of the Rings: War in the North is set against the backdrop of the famous trilogy. Forging its own distinct path, unseen lands from Middle-earth are awaiting in this action-adventure RPG. It provides players the opportunity to explore the untold stories in the Middle-earth realm during the journey of the ring.
15. Batman: Arkham City (October 4, 2011)
Batman: Arkham City sends gamers into the Arkham City, the new maximum security home for Gotham City’s gangsters and thugs. This highly anticipated sequel is heavily fortified inside the walls of a district located in the heart of Gotham City. Batman: Arkham City brings together a new all-star cast of classic villains, plus a range of enhanced gameplay features.
