Spotted: Nexus S and Android 2.3 Gingerbread

The images XDA Developers got are blurry but the point is clear, the new handset from Samsung called Nexus S is running on Android Gingerbread OS.

While it is no secret that the newest the smart phone will be carrying the latest of OS, certainly people need proof for its existence. Codenamed , the device equipped with OS or Gingerbread platform. The got hold of the handset from an unidentified source and took snapshots of it.

The are hard pieces of evedence which confirm both the S and the Gingerbread OS. Apart from the existence of both the device and OS, the rumor about the S sporting a thin and curved body that features a convex display is also evident. A few important specs are also revealed all through out the report including the device’s capability to record a 720 HD video. It also has a 5-megapixel camera for taking still shots. The handset will likely be running a Dual Core Orion 1GHz Cortex A9.
