Apple Acquires HP Cupertino Campus
Hewlett-Packard has found a buyer for its decades-old campus at 19091 Pruneridge Avenue in Cupertino, California. It's none other than the infamous iOS device maker -- Apple.
Apple has bought Hewlett-Packard’s decades-old campus in Cupertino, California. The 98-acre parcel of land that is five-minute drive away from Apple’s headquarters will be used to house the company’s growing workforce. According to Apple spokesperson, Steve Dowling:
“We now occupy 57 buildings in Cupertino and our campus is bursting at the seams. These offices will give us more space for our employees as we continue to grow.”
HP did not release any statement as to how much the property was, but real estate experts estimates that it may have been $300 million or more.View Article Source »
