Cataclysm Greets Players with Pugs, Long Queue Times, and Lags
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is here, and so are the bugs, the lags, and the long queue times. Classic.
Just a few hours into World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, US servers got a bitter taste of what several months of beta testing resulted to, all that plus your usual problems whenever a new expansion comes out.
The most infamous of all problems was the Experience. Level 80 players who had the tenacity to gather and complete daily quests a day before the expansion release didn’t gain experience once they turned over the quests the following day, nice one! Blizzard was well aware of the situation and took action immediately.
Another bug was on the new Secondary Profession: Archaeology. Players weren’t able to level the profession despite doing all necessary actions; Blizzard was quick to fix the problem.
And then there are the long queue times.A toon had to wait for more than 40mins just to get in a group! Aside from this, tremendous lag has been lurking all over. Well what do you expect when players who took a vacation in the dying moments of Wrath of the Lich King log back at the same time?
Just like any expansion’s first day, a lot of problems emerged that drew the concern of players, even hardcore ones. We can’t blame them though because it IS the most anticipated game of the season to fans and haters alike.
