As promised, Apple is finally extending the song previews on iTunes stores in US from 30 seconds to one and a half minutes. According to the researchers at Robert Morris University, the length of song samples has been the key for a consumer to purchase music online. More over, listeners are most likely to buy songs if provided with high quality version of the music. Last month, Apple confirmed that it plans to extend the length of samples to 90 seconds for songs that are at least two-and-a-half minutes long. Meanwhile, shorter songs will remain to have a 30 seconds preview.
