Vizio, Showcasing Tablets and Smartphones at CES 2011
The best manufacturer of cost-effective HDTVs will tout tech and gadget enthusiasts at CES 2011, as they showcase their newest VIA Phone and VIA Tablet in the event.
Yesterday, HDTV manufacturer – Vizio – announced that they will showcase a new tablet and smartphone product at CES 2011. Known for its cost-effective HDTVs, Vizio, will break into the mobile market with VIA Phone and VIA Tablet. Both devices sport new proprietary mobile software based on VIA Plus’ HDTV Framework and Android platform.
Vizio’s VIA Tablet features an eight-inch touch screen display, 802.11n WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth, built-in GPS, MicroSD storage, HDMI output with HD video support, and front facing camera. The VIA Phone, on the other hand, boasts a four-inch touch screen display, 802.11n WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth, GPS, HDMI output, MicroSD storage, front facing camera, and a five-megapixel rear camera. Both devices will have built-in IR blasters and pre-installed specialized universal remote app.
