Microsoft Unveils Touch Mouse

Microsoft has finally confirmed the culmination of its 'Mouse 2.0' project, announcing that the prototype 'Cap Mouse' is to be released as the Microsoft Touch Mouse.

The Microsoft is designed for Windows 7, bringing improved support of multi-touch devices to the platform. The reaction of the depends on the number of fingers touching the surface.

The director or Windows Developer and Ecosystem team, Mark Relph, claims that the Microsoft Touch Mouse provides customers a great way to naturally interact with their Windows 7-based PC. The optical portion of the mouse uses the BlueTrack , enabling owners to use the mouse on any surface except on mirror or transparent glass. The Touch Mouse’s wireless connection, on the other hand, is made possible with the help of a nano transceiver.

The Microsoft Touch Mouse is expected to hit US stores on June, with a suggested retail price of $80. UK and is yet to be confirmed.

    Looking forward to the Touch Mouse’s release.  Its an interesting play on the form factor.  Sounds promising.

      even if were using windows, and that is dam expensive, magic mouse is cheaper and looks better quality
