Sony looks into the future of cross-platform games with PlayStation Suite. Now you can play PlayStation titles on your Android phones as well!

Sony has unveiled another ground breaking improvement that transcends the barrier between gaming consoles and smartphones at the Sony Press Conference in Tokyo. The ‘PlayStation Suite’ is probably the next generation of gaming as it allows certified to go from Sony consoles like the / to mobile phones, particularly powered ones (sorry fans!).

The mobile gaming platform is designed to play ‘PlayStation Certified’ tagged which for now only includes PlayStation One (PS1) . So it looks like we’ll be going on another trip back on memory lane as we play our favorite PS1 classics but this time on a smartphone.

For those who are wondering how will that happen, basically the Android-powered smartphone will load the game and a game controller will appear transparently over the game screen. It’s a little uncomfortable to begin with, but hey, atleast we can play Sony games, huh?

Among the first games to be launched on the PlayStation Suite are Cool Boarders 2, Rally Cross, Medievil, Syphon Filter, and Wild Arms.
