With the new Rebel EOS Models, Canon has once again empowered to the people that "everyone is a photographer."

Just bought the “latest” Rebel last Christmas? Well guess what, the camera you’re holding right now is old (well, not really) as Canon has unveiled their newest models, the and Canon Rebel T3i. Although these new broods leave alot to be desired as the Rebels offer very minimal updates over their predecessors. So maybe that Christmas gift isn’t so bad afterall.

The Rebel T3 is set for a release this March with a price tag of $599.99. It has a stellar line-up of features that echoes the successess of its predecessor with the exception that this model can capture full-motion video at 1280 x 720, making the borders between a still-camera from a motion camera a little more thin. Buyers may need to provide their own SD, SDHC or SDXC cards.

Here are the other specs for the EOS Rebel T3:

  • EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II zoom (kit )
  • Up to 12.2 megapixel CMOS sensor
  • DIGIC 4 Imaging processor
  • Nine-point autofocus system
  • 63-zone dual-layer metering system
  • ISO Settings from 100-6,400
  • Pop-up flash
  • A Basic+ non-technical interface that would help beginners with the technical aspect of

The on the other is also set for a March release with a price tag of $799.99 for the body, and $899.99 bundled with the kit lens.

Here are the other specs for the EOS Rebel T3i:

  • EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II zoom lens (kit lens)
  • 18 megapixel CMOS sensor
  • DIGIC 4 Imaging processor
  • ISO Settings from 100-6,400
  • SD/SDHC/SDXC support
  • Pop-up flash
  • Integrated Speedlite settings
  • Tilt/Swivel LCD monitor

And although these are just minimal upgrades from the predecessors, atleast we’ll be getting cheaper T2s and T2is once the T3 and T3i comes out.
