Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Introduces Stage Gimmicks; Item Customization Returns

Get ready to bring in some more pain in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 with "Stage Gimmicks" and item customization.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TTT2) is coming after years of waiting, and now Famitsu reveals in its second report on the sequel that the game is having a “Stage Gimmick” system, along with the return of the Item customization feature that bring a mix of old and new into the table.
The “Stage Gimmick” system has been around the world of fighting games as far back as PlayStation (or even further), but this will be the first time the series will incorporate the feature in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, allowing players to pummel opponents into walls. But what’s different about here is that once an opponent is sent flying and lands on the next area, your tag team partner is already waiting, ready to continue the attack you’ve started.
The Tekken series has been well-known recently for its item customization options, allowing players to customize their favorite Tekken fighters with new clothes or equipment. The equipment can also be used as weapons which can be used against your opponents, so you can just imagine Paul Phoenix carrying a bat and bringing in some pain to Martial Law.
Famitsu has also unveiled that characters from Tekken 6 will be making an apperance, though only Bob and Zafina were the ones shown on the magazine.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 has no official release date yet, but rumors reveal that it will be around Japan’s summer season this 2011.
