Angry Birds Flying Soon on a Windows Phone 7 Near You

For Rovio and Microsoft, let bygones be bygones.
Remember when Microsoft announced the Windows Phone 7 last year and they simply show icons for apps that would be available at the Windows Phone Marketplace? One thing that really caught everyone’s attention is the Angry Birds logo.
As a response to this minimal application display malfunction, Rovio, the company who own Angry Birds tweeted:
“We have NOT committed to doing a Windows Phone 7 version. Microsoft put the Angry Birds icon on their site without our permission.”
Everyone thought that will be the end of the game’s possibilities on the WP7. However, we’re simply astounded to know from Rovio’s Peter Vesterbacka that they’re simply working on a WP7 franchise of the game.
As for the pevious mistake, Vesterbacka “swears that’s now water under the bridge and that there’s no bad blood between the two companies…”
Vesterbacka also said that we’ll be expecting a 3D version of Angry Birds in the future. However, we still can’t wait for it to happen. Good thing that they left bygones be bygones.
