Minecraft Officially Coming to the iOS, Gives Another Reason to Procrastinate
First there was Angry Birds, and now there's Minecraft. Get ready to get your blocks on as Minecraft is coming to the iOS this year.
The hit game Minecraft is officially heading for iOS shores. In an interview with Markus Persson, founder of Mojang, Swedish developer behind the phenomenon we call Minecraft, Gamasutra has confirmed that the pixel blocks are coming to the fruit devices.
Although Persson revealed that not every update available to the original browser and download version will be accessible to the iPhone and iPad. Mojang will instead make all the necessary adjustments and grant features that will “make sense” in a touch-screen platform. Mojang new recruit Aron Neiminen will be behind the development of the port.
Looks like iOS and Android users will have another reason not to do what they’re suppose to do other than Angry Birds. Minecraft also has a reputation of being a game so addicting that people spend straight hours just to get through the game.
Minecraft is a sanbox game developed by Markus “Notch” Persson for Java platform and Java applet. The game allows player to build and destroy blocks in a three dimensional environment. The multiple games modes can involve creating complex structures and artwork.View Article Source »
