The Apple iPad 2 Has Landed; Lighter, Thinner, Faster, Stronger
The Apple iPad 2 is in the building and soon in your hands when it starts shipping March 11.
They worked it and they made it. Apple has once again outdone themselves as none other than Apple CEO Steve Jobs unveils the much anticipated iPad 2 tablet. it’s lighter with 0.2 pounds less than the original iPad; thinner with 33% less thickness; faster with a 1GHz dual-core processor; and stronger the iOS version 4.3 plus front and rear cameras and optional AT&T and Verizon models.
It’s everything we could have wanted (except for the LCD resolution which still remains at 1024×768) from the original iPad and then some Apple thunders the world of tablets once again with the iPad 2. Get your credit cards ready because the tablet will ship on March 11, 2011, less than two weeks from now.

Although we’re surpised that a thin and frail Steve Jobs made an appearance, the iPad 2 took the center stage easily with its thin and sleek design plus upgraded specs and bonus accessories.
The iPad 2 will have a new Smart Cover protector, a magnetically -attached screen cover which can be utilized into a stand. Apple will also be selling a $39 HDMI connector cable which will let you hook up your iPad 2, iPad, iPhone 4 and the latest iPod Touch to your TV.
The iPad 2 tablet will come in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB 3G models which cost $629, $729 and $829 respectively. There will also be a Wi-Fi only models which cost $499, $599, and $699.
