After a devastating event hit Japan last week, the country still proved that they can survive with the help of search-and-rescue robots.
After an 8.8 magnitude earthquake followed by a tsunami hit Japan last Friday, modern technology is helping the country to track survivors and hasten the rescue operations as much as possible.
And though tools that can detect incoming earthquake is still impossible to come, Japan’s talent for robotics increases the country’s abilities to cope to natural disasters. Hopefully, these advances from Japan – and California, to the lesser extent – can lessen the destructions of earthquakes in the future.
