Google Brings Check Ins for Google Latitude and 30 Languages for Google Places to iPhone
Google sends more love to the iOS with updates for Google Latitude and Google Places.
Showing more love to the Apple market, Google has released updates for their two iOS apps: the Google Latitude and Google Places. Google Latitude seems to be pulling a Foursquare as Google applies ‘check ins.’ Google Places on the other hand will now be in 30 languages, giving a more personal experience to non-American iPhone users.
The Google Latitude enables you to check in at specific places like your favorite mall, restaurant, and so on. You’ll be able to share your current location to your Google Latitude friends in case they want to join you. Google Latitude continuously updates your location, which means it’ll automatically check you out when you leave. There are also titles in the app feature which lets you become a Regular, VIP or a Guru at your frequented places.
Google Places now goes international with 30 languages to give a personalized experience. The app also has a save feature which ‘saves’ all the places you visited with the app.
Google Latitude and Google Places updates are now available for download in the App Store in supported countries.View Article Source »
