LG’s 3D-capable Optimus Pad Making Japanese Debut March 31st, Price Still Unknown
Japan prepares for a magnitude 8.9-inch LG Optimus Pad, as the 3D and Honeycomb-powered tablet lands on March 31.
Japan’s NTT DOCOMO has announced that the T-Mobile LG Optimus Pad, the 3D-able tablet, is set for a March 31st release. Unfortunately, they’re still quiet on how much the Honeycomb tablet is priced with less than three days before its debut.
Known as the G-slate ’round to T-Mobile subscribers, the Optimus Pad is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, equipped with intertnationally compatible 3G data and GPS, and a stereoscopic rear-facing video cameras that can shoot 1080p of 3D-goodness which can be viewed using an L-06C with passive glasses. All this power is housed under an 8.9-inch 1280 x 768 screen.
