Amazon Cloud Player for Web and Android Now Available in US Territories

Amazon reaches cloud-nine with Amazon Cloud Player and Amazon Cloud Drive.

has beaten and to the clouds, as the online retail giant launches the Amazon for web and devices, along with the Amazon Cloud Drive.

Gone will be the days where listeners download their to different computers or phones, as the Amazon Cloud Player plays your kind of tunes anytime, anywhere. Just upload your (either in AAC or MP3 format) to the your free 5GB Cloud Drive Storage, and you’re all set to play your with the Cloud Player.

“We’re excited to take this leap forward in the digital experience,” said Vice President of and Music at Amazon, Bill Carr. “The launch of Cloud Drive, Cloud Player for Web and Cloud Player for Android eliminates the need for constant software updates as well as the use of thumb drives and cables to move and manage music.”

The Android Cloud Drive can also be upgraded to 20GB for free if you purchase any MP3 album via Amazon. The Cloud Drive can also be used as storage for your digital files, allowing your entire life to be hanging on the air.

Unfortunately, the service is only available to US territories at the moment. No details have been shared as to when the rest of the world will touch the clouds.
