Windows 8, to Have a History Vault?
No need to look into the clouds and search for your backup file once Windows 8 arrives -- that is if Microsoft will really add the History Vault.
In most sort of computing, keeping a backup of your data is imperative. And until everything is cloud-base, users will have to take care of things for themselves.
As posted by Winrumors, Microsoft Windows 8 might have a feature called History Vault. This will supposedly utilize Windows’ Shadow Copy for modified files. The History Vault could be akin Apple’s Mac OS X feature called Time Machine. The Time Machine keeps a record of all added, deleted and modified files. That way, users can browse back to see a file’s history are restore it to the present system.
If that will be the case, then wouldn’t it be nice if Microsoft will really add History Vault in its Windows 8?View Article Source »
