BlackBerry Tablet Release Date Delayed, Thanks to Apple iPad 2 Demand
It's the rule of demand and supply. Apple demands, everyone must supply. Unfortunately it's at the expense of the BlackBerry Playbook tablet.
Looks like there’s another way of trumping the competition other than excessive marketing efforts. According to a Chinese trade website, Digitimes, the launch of the BlackBerry Playbook tablet has been delayed. Thanks to manufacturers that are still occupied dealing with Apple iPad 2’s demands.
Digitimes claims that the BlackBerry Playbook tablet has been delayed for about a month not just because of a delayed software testing, but also due to a “shortage of touch panels because Apple already booked up most of the available capacity.”
BlackBerry manufacturer, RIM, has yet to confirm if the report is true. But if there’s one thing that this tale tells us, is that Apple has other means of crushing the competition: getting all the resources needed before anyone else gets their hands on it. Looks like lawsuits are coming if that is the case.View Article Source »
