Who needs the iTunes when you have the Sprint Music Plus app, right?

Can’t find the perfect replacement for the experience on your Sprint Phones? Despair no more (assuming that you are in despair), as Sprint releases the app — the only app you might ever need for your musical indulgence which promises to work just like the iTunes. Pretty sweet, huh?

You have two choices in getting the music app: First is by visiting the app’s site on your Sprint phone, or scanning the QR code for Android phones. BlackBerry and Java-featured phones will get the app on phones launched after May.

The Sprint Music Plus App acts as a “single, convenient destination for customers to discover, purchase and play” music. It allows you to create music playlists, organize tracks and albums, assign ringback tones, music search, preview content, and acquire music recommendations.

DRM-free songs are priced from $0.69 to $1.29 and will be directly charged to your Sprint bill. The app is powered by RealNetworks, the same people behind the RealPlayer.
