Nintendo Wii Successor Making an Appearance at E3 2011?
Is Nintendo finally revealing its next gaming console this E3 2011? Let's hope so, because the Nintendo Wii is getting really old.
Official or unofficial, the Nintendo Wii is as good as gone, as it’s main competitors have caught up in the motion sensory department. So what’s next in-line for Nintendo’s wave of innovation, or what some would call it Nintendo’s gimmick train? Well, we’re about to find out soon, as rumors are brewing around the gaming industry halls that the company is set to unveil their new console at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2011 from June 7 to June 11 in Los Angeles.
Game Informer has obtained information from anonymous sources that Nintendo’s new gaming console will make its much awaited debut at E3, or possibly even sooner. The sources shared that along with HD capabilities (finally), the new console will be an entirely new system from the Nintendo Wii.
Nintendo has already announced that their next console will not be in 3D, like what most have been hoping since the company did made the Nintendo 3DS handheld possible. What the anonymous sources did confirm though is that the next system is “not a gimmick like the Wii.” And for that, thank you Nintendo.
Nintendo denied to give a statement regarding the matter, as they elaborate that they “do not comment on rumor or speculation as a policy.”View Article Source »
