Worldwide Phone Market Records 20% Growth in Q1 2011
With the increasing demand for smartphones, it's not brainer that the global phone market grows to 20%.
Research firm IDC recently unveiled a survey showing that the worldwide mobile phone market has grown by 19.8% for the first quarter of 2011. Of course, this doesn’t come as a surprise with the rising demands of smartphones worldwide.
What is surprising though is that Nokia is still managing to stay on the top of the mobile phone food chain, despite its recent troubles of adapting to the changing environment of the competition. However, the Finnish company recorded a lower marketshare compared to last year.View Article Source »
