Android Femme’s Up with HTC Bliss for Women?
Verizon is set to release the sexist Android phone with apps and features designed for women.
If the ladies think that most of the Android phones available today are more male-driven with all the pre-determined apps installed, well then here’s something that might tickle their fancies. Verizon unveils the HTC Bliss, the so called “Android phone for women.”
Of course, it’s still in the rumor-mill at the moment. But according to This Is My Next reports, Bliss is your typical looking Android smartphone with female-centric apps and features. This immediately dispels thoughts that the Bliss will only come in the shade of pink. According to the report, the phone will have apps such as shopping comparisons and calorie counting, stuffs that ONLY women do, right?
Other than the apps, the HTC Bliss will have a “charm indicator,” a blinking cube attached to a string on the smartphone which operates when the phone receives a message or a phone call. This is said to help women look for their phones inside their purses, which in a sexist’s point of view, has several things inside.
Other features involved are a wireless charging and speaker dock and a speaker with voice recognition, which can be attached to the visor of a car for hands-free operation.
HTC Bliss is rumored to launch on Verizon by the end of 2011.View Article Source »
