Apple’s Scheduled Retail Meeting Heats up Rumors
The rumor mills are churning, and they're saying that Apple's got some plans this Sunday. Now, would that weekend plans be?
There are rumors claiming that Apple will hold an all-hands employee meeting on May 22 in US retail stores. Considering that the company holds this kind of meeting after stores close on Sunday, the said event will start at an unusual time — 7:00 am.
This retail meeting is also heating up a lot of speculations, as WWDC 2011 is fast approaching. It is said that Apple might train the employees for the upcoming iCloud feature or other products set to be announced at the developer event. It is also note worth taking that the Cupertino-based company will be celebrating its 10th Retail Anniversary this week.
In fact, several websites are pointing out that Apple is setting up special events and store merchandise for the anniversary. These may include signing NDAs, overnight shifts at Apple Stores until midday of May 22, new hardware to install and a password-protected folder for employees signed as ‘training’.
But whether the coming Sunday will be an anniversary-related meeting or an internal training for new products, it is still unknown. Keep it posted here at GADG for more updates on Apple’s retail meeting.View Article Source »
