Bohemia Interactive Unveils ARMA 3
Set on a Mediterranean island, be one of the battered NATO forces' last stand with ARMA 3.
Game developer, Bohemia Interactive, announced the latest installment of its military simulators series — ARMA 3. According the announcement posted on its official website, ARMA 3 is based on a Mediterranean island and will focus on the NATO forces fighting Eastern armies.
“After years of intense warfare against Eastern armies, Europe has become the last stand for the battered NATO forces. On the verge of being driven into the sea, NATO command embarks upon a most desperate measure. In the hope of seizing what seems to be a well-guarded military secret, Operation Magnitude is launched. A small group of Special Forces and Researchers are sent to a Mediterranean island deep behind enemy lines.”
Bohemia Interactive also revealed some of the minimum specs for ARMA 3.
CPU: Intel Core i5 or AMD Athlon Phenom X4 or faster
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX 260 or ATI Radeon HD 5770 with Shader Model 3 and 896 MB VRAM
Other: DirectX 10 minimum
ARMA 3 is scheduled for a Summer 2012 release date, and will feature multi-player, single player, vehicles, customizable loadouts and an extensive editor to allow gamers make their own content.
