Twitter, to Launch its Own Photo Sharing Service

This is it Tweeps! You'll no longer need your Twitpic soon, as Twitter will have a photo sharing app of its own soon.

According to multiple sources, Twitter will be announcing its own built in Twitpic competitor soon. This makes perfect sense, as photo sharing is the next logical step of Twitter to expand its in-app experience. After spending $40 million to purchase Tweetdeck, it’s only natural that they would spend more resources on photo sharing.

No more further details like what the photo sharing URL shortener will be or what the Twitter for Photos product will look like. What GADG only knows is that it is coming soon.
