The 24% of US Adults Make Calls via Internet
A number of US adults who make calls over the Internet has risen exponentially in recent years.
Almost a quarter of American adult Internet users have used the internet to make phone calls, according to a survey released last Monday by the Pew Research Center’s Internet and American Life Project. Only 8% of Internet users placed a call online in early 2007, while about 10% did it during the other times of 2000’s.
The study was conducted on April and May and has found that 5% of web users on any given day are online just to make calls. Four years ago, that number was 2% and was closer to just 1% at various points in 2000s.View Article Source »
