Microsoft Previews the Windows 8

Microsoft finally unveils its Windows 8 OS at the D9 Conference last Wednesday.

At the last Wednesday, officially unveils the forthcoming . Optimized for the Touch UI, the new OS version has a similar interface with Windows Phone 7.

Just like WP7’s Start Menu, the Windows 8 Start Screen launches apps and displays live information. The also shows how a user can switch and resize Windows. The Windows 8 will also support legacy apps and application written in JavaScript and HTML5. However, it is still unknown whether ARM support for legacy apps and the Silverlight will be available.
