In ’s recent announcement of , the shooter game of the year is heating up with its exclusive pre-order bonuses. The offers exclusive guns, like Type 88, for those who pre-order the game. Thos who do not, will not have access to the weapons at all. Hence it is no wonder that 94% of EA’s members dislike the idea of the pre-order bonus.

The whole idea brought in so much controversy, that a small retaliation started in the community. If you are one of those who think that this move is unfair, voice your comments down here and EA might just listen.

This is ridiculous!  Now it’s gone straight to “if you don’t pre order” then you won’t get the whole game”  and their response would be something like “no, you do… this is just bonus for others.  They like us so much that we want to give them extra to use against others” bs… stupid.  not even the publisher accepts it.

It might be like Battlefield Bad Company 2, where if you pre-ordered the game you would unlock certain weapons as soon as you signed into multiplayer. These weapons were, though, accesible by all online players later through levelling up. I personally saw the pre-order unlocks as cheap, since you didn’t earn the weapons. Hopefully something similar will be happening with Battlefield 3, and gamers will be able to unlock the pre-order guns, such as the mentioned Type 88, eventually.
