IMF Joins the Hacking Fever
IMF becomes the latest victim of hackers.
After Sony, Nintendo, Citibank, here comes International Monetary Fund (IMF). Senior officials of the company told the New York Times that they were experiencing major security breach.
Tech experts speculated that this breach is caused by “spear phishing.” This trick works by inviting a victim to open an email or an instant message. Once the message is opened, malicious software is automatically installed to the whole network.
IMF is not giving away all the information about the attack and the issue made the World Bank cut its ties with IMF.View Article Source »
