T-Mobile G2, Phasing Out This June
T-Mobile G2 is quietly phasing out from market this June, after it was released 8 months ago as the new Google phone.
Last October, T-Mobile G2 was introduced as the latest Google phone following the T-Mobile G1. But as of June 6, the creation and production of T-Mobile G2 has been ceased. Manufactured by HTC, the phone had several build quality issues, that’s why it will be phased out on the market this month. Some users of T-Mobile G2 reported that there’s a loose hinge that allows the slider of the phone to release its keyboard too easily.
Another T-Mobile, also manufactured by HTC, will be coming soon to the network. It is called myTouch slide which doesn’t have an official release date. However, the myTouch slide is targeted more at the middle to lower end of the market, as given away by its low-end 528MHz ARM11-based processor. Its been said that it will replace the T-Mobile Sidekick.View Article Source »
