New Facebook Application for iPad, to be Released Soon
The new Facebook app for iPad has not yet been officially released. However, several people had already seen it, and few features have been announced in public.
Yesterday, The New York Times reported that there are several social media users who gave updates on the new Facebook’s application for iPad. The said app is currently on its “final stages of testing”, and will be available in a few weeks after being produced for over a year.
Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, announced that they’ve already visualized the app’s designs and features. Some people who have already seen the application commented that is has a “slick design” that is specially created for iPad’s interface. In short, the developers of the app successfully revamped the Facebook Chat and Facebook Groups specs.
With this new Facebook app, users of iPad 2 will now be entitled to capture and upload photos or videos directly from their gadget’s cameras. As shared by a person who’ve seen the app, “The photo and video experience is amazing, offering full resolution and full-screen images”.
Facebook has not given any comments yet regarding this app, although they said that they are still maintaining a good relationship with the Apple company.
According to the company, there are 250 million Facebook users worldwide who had already used the service via a mobile device. On the other hand, after selling out more than 25 million iPads last year, Apple is planning to market the iPad app through featuring them on different App Stores.
Sources also said that Facebook is currently working on an improved version of its website for iPad. Moreover, there are series of gossips emerging last Wednesday stating that Facebook is doing an HTML5 platform. These companies have several differences, including the issue that Apple’s Ping social music discovery service doesn’t integrate with Facebook. But last year, Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO, was seen with Mark Zuckerberg having dinner and discussing the said issue.View Article Source »
