A beautifully designed photo application for Androids has been released recently. The Lightbox takes few features from Instagram and Apple's iCloud.

Lightbox, which describes itself as a “social roll”, is a new photo created for Androids. It is a mixture of a camera and a photo gallery, which is designed to outrun the default Android features with professional counterparts.

This app is somewhat similar to the features of an and iCloud, in which you can beam the that you had captured through your phone into your web browser in no time. The Lightbox is a good replacement to your old camera application. Although this app does not have common features such as the zoom and auto focus, it entitles you to add 10 cool filters after taking a shot.

What’s more interesting in this Android app is that it gives you the ability to connect to your Facebook and accounts so you could share your photos with your friends while commenting and retweeting on their posts. Plus, you can also access your photos by logging in to the Lightbox’s website. The Lightbox synchronizes itself automatically – a feature that is similar to ’s iCloud, wherein your photos will be immediately shown on your and their web interfaces.

Knowing that this application could connect to several sites on the web, take note that Lightbox does not require any forms of internet connection. It will just sync up all your current activities once you attempt to get a connection.
