In the Spotlight: 7-Inch Android 3.2 Huawei MediaPad
The newest Android tablet is powered with cutting-edge specs.
Tech site Engadget dubbed the MediaPad as “downright luscious” and was astonished with the Android 3.2 software. Another site, Electronista, said that the MediaPad offers more than what Motorola Xoom has under its belt. The site mentioned that “Huawei MediaPad’s 7-inch WSVGA display boasts a pixel density of 217ppi, which bests the iPad 2’s pixel density of 132ppi by some margin,”
PCWorld outlined the other specs of the MediaPad: 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, lighter than an iPad, has dual cameras, supports HD video, 3G (HSPA+) and Wi-Fi support, 8GB internal storage and 6 hours of battery life.
MediaPad will land in the US by the third quarter of 2011 but no official release announced by Huawei.
